
## 1. Create your account

Sign up at [rightcomments.com/signup](/signup). No credit card required to get started.

## 2. Install the WordPress plugin

Download the plugin from your [account dashboard](/account) or directly from [this link](/plugins/rightcomments.zip).

In your WordPress admin:
1. Go to **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin**
2. Choose the `rightcomments.zip` file
3. Click **Install Now**, then **Activate**

## 3. Connect your site

After activating the plugin, go to **Settings → RightComments** in your WordPress admin.

Click the **Connect to RightComments** button. This will open rightcomments.com where you'll approve the connection. Your API key is generated automatically — no copying or pasting needed.

Once connected, you'll see a green "Connected" badge on the settings page.

## 4. You're done

That's it. Every new comment on your site is now scanned by AI before it reaches your moderation queue. Spam gets moved to the spam folder automatically.

You can adjust sensitivity and add custom filtering rules from the plugin settings page at any time.
