Agreement

By using RightComments ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. The Service is provided by RightComments and includes the website at rightcomments.com, the RightComments API, and the WordPress plugin.

The Service

RightComments provides AI-powered comment moderation for WordPress sites. The Service analyzes comments submitted to your site and returns a spam/not-spam determination along with a reason.

We do our best to accurately detect spam, but no automated system is perfect. You remain responsible for the content published on your site, including comments that may be incorrectly classified.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for keeping your API key secure
• One account per person or organization — no shared accounts
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process content unrelated to comment moderation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or abuse the spam detection system
• Resell or redistribute access to the API without permission
• Exceed your plan's comment scanning limits through automated means
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

Pricing & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are in USD. You can cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of your current billing period.

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honored at their current rate until the next renewal after the change takes effect.

API Usage

Each plan includes a monthly comment scanning limit. If you exceed your limit, additional comments will not be scanned until your limit resets at the start of your next billing cycle. We will not charge overage fees without your explicit consent.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control. If the API is unreachable, the WordPress plugin is designed to fail open — comments will be approved normally rather than blocked.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your content. We do not claim any rights over comments processed through our API. The RightComments name, logo, and website design are our property.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for spam that gets through, legitimate comments incorrectly flagged, or any damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding a claim.

Termination

You can close your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
